“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous” Actually, who are you not to be? As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others.”
-Mary Ann Williamson
Let go of those fears…Here are a few tips to help you land your dream job:
1. Dare to Dream
To achieve a dream, you have to first be willing to dream it. You can’t reach a goal that you don’t have. And it’s much easier to drift through life aimlessly than it is to risk suffering the pain and disappointment.
2. Get a Guide
It is your dream, but you don’t have to do it alone. There are many people willing to help you. Invite those positive people in your corner and get the ground moving.
3. Leave your Tower
In order to land your dream job, you’ve got to get started. A queen didn’t earn her throne in a day. Stop thinking and start doing. All the hard work and dedication will pay off.
4. Ignore the Critics
For every person willing to help you, there will be a hundred telling you, you can’t or you shouldn’t. Thrive off encouragement and wash the criticism off like the filth that is.
5. Become a Risk Taker
Challenges will await you as you pursue your dream and, if your fear outweighs your desire to succeed, you aren’t going to get anywhere. To make progress you’ve got to face your fears.
The only thing standing in the way of you and your dream job is your fears. You are fab and nothing is impossible. Even the word “impossible” says “IM POSSIBLE.” And let’s never forget Beyonce wasn’t built in a day! Now go out there and get that dream job. You got this!
