Turn Your Winter Gut into a Summer Butt (the right way): 3-indoor/at home workouts to fit the Winter fluff

When your so comfy at home, the last thing you want to do is head out to the gym. We totally get it! But if you’ve made big fitness resolutions for 2015, you shouldn’t be skipping workouts. It turns out you can break the same sweat right in the comfort of your own home.

Here are some indoor/at home workouts:


If your trying to get a nice firm and round booty for the summer squats will become your best friend. They are so easy to do and could be done just about anywhere. Even though you will feel this exercise in your legs and butt; squats promote muscle growth throughout your entire body. Squats will help to get your back muscle right and tight, which will also improve posture. If you want to make it a little more difficult you can add weights, but even if you don’t, you’ll get that round booty in no time!

Cardio Kickboxing 

You don’t actually need a punching bag to get the full effect. It’s the effort and amount of energy that goes into this exercise that counts. So clear out your living room area or even your bedroom. This high-energy workout will make you work up a nice sweat that will make you feel like you went to the gym. If you really want to burn fat and tone your body this will help you do it! Kickboxing will help you relieve stress and learn valuable self-defense. Once you learn these moves no one will mess with you.

Sit Ups/Push Ups

You want to look good in that bikini right? By doing both of these workouts you will get lean and strong muscles. If your doing it 3 times a week your already a step closer to that bikini bod. Sit-ups will definitely help rid of that “winter gut.” These exercises will help you maintain good stamina, health and balance.


Lastly, before and after any of these exercises its very important that you stretch. Stretching reduces muscle tension and will help you relaxed. Stretching preps your body for an intense workout and for all of us ladies it even helps with painful menstruation.
