“If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results.”

Have you ever wanted something so bad, but ended up so discouraged because of how long it was taking to get what you wanted? This Sunday, let’s focus on staying focused! Because it’s so easy to lose sight of what we really want, because of the time and work that it takes. Nothing happens overnight and if you really want something you have to work very hard for it.

Think about your goals and aspirations. How important are they to you? How badly do you want to achieve them? If it’s really that important to you, the time that it will take to achieve them shouldn’t discourage you, in fact, it should motivate you, because the hard work will help you get there faster. For example, weight loss and dieting is definitely not an easy process. But think of it this way, if you happened to gain weight that didn’t happen overnight it took time, which means it’s going to take some time to lose it. Let that motivate you! Push your yourself to limits that you’ve never pushed yourself to before. Go the extra mile and wake up early to get your workout on and I promise you, you are going to thank yourself later. Not only will you feel better, not even in regards to working out, but period you will feel better about taking the time you need to get closer to your goals and dreams.

It can be frustrating when you aren’t seeing results, but always remember God is working things out for you. Even when you don’t see it or feel it. Have faith and be thankful. Try to think positively about things and it can and will definitely have a major impact on how you view things. It can and will get better as long as you believe it will. Working towards your goals is great, but it isn’t so great if you don’t believe that you can achieve it. Ask yourself if what you’re doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow. If it’s not, that means it’s time to get to work. If you believe in yourself you will be unstoppable. Let’s do this!
