It’s always so sad and hard to adjust to the chilly weather after a warm sunny summer. In the summertime, you can easily enjoy a day and night out. Now that Fall has officially arrived everyone often wonders what is there to do to still enjoy the weather. Well don’t fret, you can still enjoy the weather before the windchill drops and the snowstorms start to hit.
If you are looking to indulge in beer, great food and tons of entertainment definitely check out one of Fall’s most popular festivals to date. Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival running from late September until October. It is a traditional autumn festival that also features beer drinking and merrymaking.
Six Flags Fright Fest features “thrills by day,” while an amped-up “fright by night” will deliver more scare zones, terror trails, haunted mazes, zombies and Halloween-themed shows and attractions. The daytime hours are family-friendly and offer the chance to grab some candy from your favorite characters in the trick-or-treat trail. Once the clock strikes six the midways become full of the living dead, ready to scare the pants off of anyone who dares to cross their path.
When the weather gets cool there’s no better weekend activity than apple picking. September marked the start of apple picking season when dozens of orchards open to the public. This is the perfect way to spend some quality time with bae or the family. Some farms may allow you to also pick pumpkins and other food.
Be sure to try any of these fun suggestions if you are looking for something to do on the weekends this Fall.
